CHC Olympic-Style Rifle Bullseye Rimfire Trial Match R3

CHC is pleased to announce our first organized club bullseye event in quite a while, thanks to our new Bullseye Director, Anthony Bennett. Anthony has been competing at nearby clubs and is excited to rekindle Olympic Style Bullseye Rimfire at CHC.

The event is open to anyone with a rimfire rifle. Divisions are iron sights and optics.

There will be 3 positions of shooting (kneeling, prone and standing). No bipods for the prone position, shooting off the elbows only. If someone is mobility-impaired, they can shoot from a seated position.

Round count is 60 rounds plus sighters to qualify, 45 shots in the same-day final for the top 8 shooters to determine the first/second/third finishers.  It will be approximately as described here.  More details to follow.

Bring a mat or equivalent to shoot prone as well as your eye and ear protection.

Official targets will be provided, cost for trial match is $5 to cover the targets.

Range officers and other volunteers are needed, please sign up for a free Volunteer ticket.  If you register as a volunteer who works on Match Day, you can sign up to shoot for free on Build Day.

Paid competitors are permitted to shoot on Build Day at regular price if Match Day does not fit their schedule.

Competitor limit is 30.

Competing in Olympic Style Bullseye Rimfire is part of the path to getting an exemption letter to purchase a handgun. More on that later.
