Range hours of operation

 May - October  Tuesday to Thursday   10am to 8pm
 May - October  Friday - Saturday  10am to 5pm 
 November - April  Tuesday to Saturday   10am to dusk 


There is no shooting on Sundays and Mondays. In addition, no person shall operate the Range or discharge a firearm on any of the following days:

 Family Day Good Friday  Easter Sunday  Canada Day  Civic Holiday 
 Labour Day Thanksgiving Day  Christmas Day  Boxing Day  New Year's Day 


RANGE RULES
  • The last person leaving the club is to close and lock the gate and change the sign. Individuals may lock the gate behind them while they are shooting alone.

  • Do not pass on the gate code to non-members.

  • Your club identification should be available at all times.

  • No person shall attend the range facilities while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • There must always be a Range Officer. If you are shooting alone, you are it.

  • Just like restricted firearms, your sporting rifles and shotguns will be transported to the range in a case.

  • Do not shoot at signs, posts or other non-target items.

  • All firearms will be uncased on the firing line under a red flag only or in a safety area. The trunk of your car is not a safety area. Do not walk across the parking lot with an uncased firearm.

  • Clean up after yourself. Old targets and spent steel casings in the garbage and spent brass in the brass bucket.

  • The use of exploding targets (e.g.: Tannerite) is forbidden.

  • Only targets approved by the club executive may be used. If in doubt, ask in advance.

  • No glass targets allowed.

  • High-power rifles can be used on all ranges with the exception that they may not be used to shoot at ANY steel targets on Ranges 1, 2 and 4. 

  • Range 3 is for rifles and shotguns (Slugs only). NO Handguns, birdshot or buckshot.

  • Approved metal targets must be surrounded by wooden shrouds and engaged at a distance of NO LESS THAN 10 meters.

  • Specific Range Rules are posted at each range.

  • Eye and ear protection are to be worn at all times when shooting is in progress for everyone in the vicinity of the firing line.


Failure to follow any and all range rules may result in disciplinary measures, suspension of shooting privileges, or dismissal from the Club.


Please follow all posted rules at the club.

In the event that the club postings and this website provide contradictory information, the club posting shall always prevail.
