Completion of this classroom training is mandatory for new members. If you cannot make this date, or this date is full, please choose another date. There is one almost every month. There is no cost for Classroom Training.
The hours are 9:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM. Please be on time. There is a lot of material to cover.
This New Member Safety Course will be conducted in a classroom setting. This course will be conducted according to the curriculum set by the Canadian Shooting Sports Association (CSSA). This will conclude with a written exam, and if required, followed by a trip to the range for a dry handling practical test.

Bring your favourite pen. DO NOT BRING FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION INTO THE BUILDING.
Bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. We do not break for lunch. There won't be time to go to a restaurant and there are no nearby establishments. There is a microwave and a very limited pay canteen available with some snacks and drinks.
For those that have the time, we will be visiting the range after to conduct the dry handling practical test, as well as do a Range Orientation.
If for any reason you will be arriving late or won't make it due to unforeseen circumstances, please cancel your registration. The online cancellation is critical as the system will automatically contact the next person on the waiting list, so they can attend, and so we are not waiting for you if you won't be attending.
