CHC Steel Challenge Practice R1 Winter Season (and Live Fire Training)

CHC Steel Challenge Practice, held on Range 1 unless unavailable and then we find another range.  Setup starts at 2:00 pm and practice ends around 5 pm (or dusk).

Steel Challenge Practice is a great way for a new member to get practice with their gun in a fun manner, and also great practice for experienced shooters.

Winter Practice is limited to guns pointed at the berm when loaded to avoid cold finger accidental discharge issues (no loaded guns in a holster, all guns are loaded and unloaded while facing the berm and start from low ready). 

Live Fire training is conducted at Steel Challenge Practice or at an adjacent range if 1-on-1 is required or if you are a new shooter and require easier targets.  We can also do in-person New Member Applications at Steel Practice.

Registration allows you to sign up for tickets to either attend to Steel Challenge practice, get a range orientation, get live fire training, or apply to be a member in-person. Specify the practice day and your arrival time. Registration is NOT mandatory to practice Steel Challenge.

For Range Orientation, Training or New Member Applications, make sure you specify what time you will be arriving in your ticket registration to send an e-mail with your arrival time to steel_match@cornwallhandgunclub.ca to make sure someone will be there for you.

Spectators are welcome as guests of a member.
